Rap City is dead
What a sad day. I just found out earlier over at the Frank 151 blog that rap city has been canceled. That used to be my shit getting home from school and turning that on. Big Tigger, Big Lez, Joe Clair...those were my dudes. I think I quit watching when they took it out of the basement and the new guy came on, I can't think of his name right now. Either way, sad day for hip-hop. Also don't get too excited for the jay z freestlye it sounds like dook dook, but I had to put something up.

Lucked into this one. Ron White and Rascal Flats come into S.O.P's while I was there and did an impromptu show as a part of an open mic contest. Part 1 - "Little Change in My Pocket"

So yea I don't really know any Rascal Flat songs, I do know they are a uber-popular country band that people who like country hate, but still pretty interesting evening.

Internet Radio Slippin' (Pimpin')
What would we do without music while at work? Internet Radio providers are starting to wonder themselves what place there is in the Industry for Net Radio.
In the last 12 months, deals have been cut between SoundExchange and Internet radio’s closest competitors – satellite and cable radio – that set their royalty rates at less than half of what webcasters pay. Being asked to pay an irrationally and unjustifiably higher royalty rate than its competition puts Net radio at a significant competitive disadvantage, but these deals do seem to have established the “price of music” for non traditional radio providers, a price providers are more than happy to pay.
Internet radio providers need your help to remind Congress that though Internet radio is still on the air and artists are still being paid for their work by webcasters, nothing has been resolved and a call to action is needed. Call your Senators and your Representative and ask them to co-sponsor the Internet Radio Equality Act, H.R. 2060 and S. 1353.
